In the 2023 edition of The BIG Toy Book, The Nacelle Co. unveiled a retro-style ad for its growing Nacelleverse, a world of interconnected storytelling rooted in relaunched retro toy brands.

On the left side of the image, the Biker Mice from Mars took their spot alongside Sectaurs (formerly Coleco), The Great Garloo (formerly Marx Toys), Power Lords (formerly Revell), and RoboForce (formerly Ideal) — all brands that have appeared in the pages of The Toy Book at some point over the past few decades.

Late last fall, Nacelle‘s RoboForce made its way into specialty retailers across North America, and now — backed by immediate buzz — the Biker Mice from Mars will roll out later this year.

“The response to our Biker Mice acquisition was so huge that we decided to speed up the line on our schedule to meet the demand,” says Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder and CEO, The Nacelle Co. “Needless to say, this is gonna be a big one — and not just on Mars!”

Originally launched as an animated series in 1993, Biker Mice from Mars first hit toy departments in 1995 with a line of action figures, vehicles, and playsets from Galoob Toys. The line inspired video games from Tiger Electronics and Konami and was relaunched in the mid-aughts with toys by Giochi Preziosi.

Nacelle’s line will launch with a trio of 7-inch scale action figures inspired by the original toys. Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo will feature updated articulation and will come in vintage-inspired packaging.

While consumer preorders have opened via Nacelle’s direct-to-consumer website, specialty retailers, distributors, or other buyers interested in stocking the line or others can email Michael Goodman: mgoodman@nacellecompany.com.
