Screen Rant is excited to offer a first look at the first-ever The Expanse action figures. The Expanse’s untimely season 6 ending has left a hunger for further exploration of the world first created by author James S. A. Corey, as three of Corey’s novels have not yet been adapted into live-action. The Expanse does live on in projects like the tie-in comic The Expanse: Dragon Tooth, but hopes remain high for an eventual seventh season.
Characters from what many consider one of the best sci-fi shows of all time will be turned into collectible figures by The Nacelle Company, known for its documentary series Icons Unearthed and The Toys That Made Us. Founded by filmmaker and devout toy collector Brian Volk-Weiss, the ever-growing Nacelle Company first launched its toy division in 2021 before announcing its deal with Alcon Entertainment to create The Expanse action figures in January 2023. The Nacelle Company also unveiled an action figure series based on The Expanse during their San Diego Comic-Con panel.
Screen Rant is excited to share a first look at The Nacelle Company’s realization of Chrisjen Avasarala and Camina Drummer, played in The Expanse by Shohreh Aghdashloo and Cara Gee, respectively. Although the images are of an artist’s rendering and not the final figures, the attention to detail in the figures themselves is clear. Chrisjen Avasarala can be seen in an impressively realized outfit befitting her station, and Camina Drummer comes complete with a firearm.
Chrisjen Avasarala and Camina Drummer are just a few of the characters represented in The Nacelle Company’s first run of The Expanse action figures. Some of the bravest The Expanse characters will be a part of the line as well; the full first series is composed of Chrisjen Avasarala, Camina Drummer, Detective Josephus Miller, James Holden, Amos Burton, Bobbie Draper, and Naoma Nagata. The Nacelle Company founder Brian Volk-Weiss had this to say on The Expanse action figure line:
